My little graduate and her hair

My Princess is so into all things hair, so when someone in her class had shiny hair, she was all about it! My nutty sister came over, bringing all her hair supplies and fixed Brynlee right up with bling strands in her hair. When I asked Brynlee, "do you like it" she said,, "I Love it!!"

She woke up in the middle of the night and asked me very sleepily, is my hair strips still in mom? Mini-Me I tell ya!!

Princess Brynlee had her pre-school graduation this past week, sad day. I told the grocer we will never again have a preschooler in this house until it is our grandkid! Ha, I am not sure he really enjoyed that comment because he gave me the weirdest look I have ever seen and then said nothing :) I had a mini photoshoot with her in her cap and gown and made invitations out of the pictures I took. We went to her ceremony and then had a graduation party here at the house for her. It started out small (in my head) then me -in spite of me- got carried away, as usual when it comes to parties. My little party turned into about 35 people coming for dinner and a huge sleep over with 6 kiddos. It was great though, I always enjoy a good party!! I am sad about the fact that this actually happened. My baby is getting older and those milestones are coming at us like the lines on a freeway, I can't stop them, try as I might, life continues and with it my children are growing. I am one proud mamma watching all their accomplishments, but they all come with a bitter-sweet twist.....enough of the sad mom moments this day was about Brynlee and she knew it, all day long she would say, I get to do that, or I get to go 1st, it's my graduation day :)

Congrats to my Bryn for another sucessful school year. I have said it before and I will say it again, watch out for those Stokes Girls they are forces to be reckoned with :)
