This past week went like a blur, super busy but great. School's out for the summer! Yeah, I love having my three treasures home with me. This extra long weekend we got busy and did some yard work, real down and dirty, all day long yard work. I am so proud of the teenager, on top of working for his dad at the store, him and his good friend J. have decided to start a little side business - Yard work :) they made flyer's and got their 1st job Saturday when the grocer hired them to lay sod. He is such a little entrepreneur, no lazy dog days of video gaming or night game wasting for him, he says he needs to work hard ! Wowzaa I am sooo lucky because he is getting older and it is like having another guy around the house to help me with "heavy lifting" when I need it. My cup runneth over with him . . . . The girls had friends over and played the weekend away, the dog *helped* the teenager and the grocer and he needed a bath in a bad way and of course that one little responsibility came to me, as I am the primary disciplinarian when it comes to Rueben, I don't think he would have cooperated for anyone in a bath tub full of water, ha. I really don't mind though, because I freaking love that dog! I don't think the grocer can handle sitting still and just chillin', he is ALWAYS doing a project, don't get me wrong I am way grateful for this, I just think he is funny, I mean really where does he get his energy? He works well into 60 hours a week and still makes this yard and house look immaculate - sheesh, I need some of his energy :)
We went to the early service at church so we could enjoy the rest of the afternoon home with the family. . . .
